Thaheer spoke on the panel "Social Innovation in the South African Health System" at the Health Entrepreneurship Summit 2026, hosted by the Bertha Centre for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the UCT Graduate School of Business on 15 May 2026. He was joined by Prof. Tracey Naledi (UCT Faculty of Health Sciences), Glaudina Loots (South African Medical Research Council) and Kevin Aron (Medshield Medical Scheme), with Katusha de Villiers moderating. His reflections on the "valley of death" between proof of concept and scale resonated with many in the room.
